My name is Aniyah Wilkerson, an aspiring defense attorney attending Spelman College. I am currently pursuing a degree in History on the pre-law track and planning on minoring in Psychology. I am personally passionate about mental and physical health, equality, social justice and am an admirer of the arts. I love anything that can boost my serotonin levels and bring me a sense of peace.
I joined the Just-Us Initiative because I wanted to help build a space for girls like me who grew up and did not feel as if they had space where they feel seen. I have three younger siblings who are currently growing up in an area where there is a limited number of minorities, let alone black people around them. So this initiative is really special to me, and I am proud to be a part of it.
