Hi! My name is Nia Kidd, and I am a Sophomore at Kennesaw State University. I’m from New Orleans, LA, and love poetry, reading, journaling, and bike riding. I joined the Just-Us Initiative because I saw a program that was tailored towards young black women that guaranteed to uplift us and inform us on day-to-day things that we as black girls go through or are not that informed on. This program makes me happy to be a part of as I am witnessing sisterhood and a combination of black women who are striving for a common goal.
