My name is Victoria Pannell, and I am from Harlem, NYC! I am a Senior at Duke University, double majoring in Public Policy and Psychology on the Pre-Law track. Although we live in a world that institutionally silences and disregards Us, Black Women have always pushed through barriers with the knowledge that we are present, and we matter. As an activist and a creative, one of my passions is ensuring that Black Women have the space to be unapologetically amazing with the support they need to thrive. I am so excited to join the Just Us Initiative team. I truly believe that it is a platform created for the empowerment of Black Women. Created for Us, by Us! I know that the Just Us Initiative will provide young Black Women with the tools and resources they need to not only feel safe and understood but to walk with their heads held a little higher!
